However, custom cut LED rope light might have its limitations since the length might be too long to match desires of the buyer. This is the reason why companies have started producing rope lights that can be cut to shorter lengths and still retain their functionality.

LED lights may also be in form of strip lights. This is basically a flexible circuit board that has LED bulbs mounted on it. The bulbs may be so small that at times they may be held by adhesives. An LED flexible strip allows for the adjustment of the strip board so as to suit different functions. As can be observed from this information, LED lights are predominantly used as decorative lights though most people also use them for ordinary lighting in residential houses.

Cutting rope lights is however a task that requires care and expertise. This is because one must be careful not to affect the complete functionality of the entire rope light. Applications of rope lighting are majorly in decoration and display. LED tube Lights used to create a pattern of alternating colors during Christmas celebrations including on Christmas trees are usually rope lights. However, in most display of products in shops blue rope lights are usually used. This is because blue is a color that can be official as well as provide a beautiful and attractive display.
